Festival of Lights Lake Jackson

It is that time of the year! Bring on the first Yuletide Cheer of 2022 with the Festival of Lights at Lake Jackson, Texas which runs from November 17-20!

The festivities will kick off on November 17 with the Yuletide Carnival. Mayor’s Tree Lighting and Santa Pajama Jam will follow on November 18. November 19th will be a busy day kicking off with Breakfast with Santa, followed by Holidays Around the World. There will be art, food trucks, and craft booths throughout the day! 

The popular Children’s Wintertime Playground will be held from 11 am to 3 pm where kids can take pictures with Santa! The much-awaited Parade of Lights takes place starting at 7 pm!

The Yuletide Carnival

The community’s favorite bookends at the Annual Festival of Lights! Enjoy it for a full 4 days with a twice-a-night free circus too!

The Children’s Wintertime Playground

Free Children’s Wintertime Playground of all snowy and wintery kinds INCLUDING Santa’s Workshop! Santa Claus will listen to all the children’s Christmas wishes and pose for photos too from 11 am – 3 pm.

Also featuring the World’s Largest Snowman!

The 32nd Annual Parade of Lights 

The highly-awaited 32nd Annual Parade of Lights will take place during the Festival of Lights on Saturday, November 19. The parade will start its journey through Lake Jackson’s downtown at 7 o’clock. Those attending can vote for their favorite float by texting the number of the float to 844-695-9995. There will be many community performances at the Parade of Lights! 

Also, remember to enjoy the film ELF at the civic center’s Festival of Lights After-Parade Movie after the parade. Public attendance is free at all events.

Parade Parking

Parade Parking Information
Beginning at 12:01 AM Saturday the median/center parking of Circle Way will be closed to parking. Residents are invited to bring lawn chairs and refreshments into the median to watch the parade. Parking will be open again after the parade.

Overflow Parking
Overflow parking will be available at the Recreation Center. Shuttle service will run every 15 minutes and bring residents to the police department where they will be able to walk to the nearby attractions. Shuttle service will run from noon until midnight.

The city of Lake Jackson is located in the Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown metropolitan area in the U.S. state of Texas’s Brazoria County. There were 26,849 people living in the city as per the 2010 Census.
