Meanwhile, Sector 9 takes you into an underground facility where an extraterrestrial pathogen has escaped containment, leaving behind strange growths and mutations. The third attraction is set in a decaying estate filled with cannibalistic themes, dark rituals, and a mysterious character known as the Woman in Yellow.

Houston Terror Dome offers a little bit of everything for a Halloween night out, starting with a haunted house packed with different rooms, effects, and creepy characters.
You’ll encounter everything from a butcher shop and swamp to clown sections, zombie encounters, and a walk-through vortex.
The 3D rooms add another layer of fun, using special glasses and disorienting visuals to create an experience that feels different from the rest of the haunt.

Terror Isle brings a pirate-themed storyline to its haunted house experience, with an emphasis on original scenes and unexpected twists.
For 2026, its story, From Below, follows a villain named Noctyr, who has tunneled beneath the Pirate King’s island, stolen his treasure, and retreated underground with an army of mutated creatures.
Your group is tasked with heading below the island to recover it, taking you through a series of environments connected by the same story.
The Ultimate Experience adds two escape rooms to the visit, both tied to the pirate-themed story. After completing those, you’ll enter the main walkthrough, followed by a tarot reading from Terror Isle’s in-house fortune teller.
You can also choose the standard walkthrough or try the Horror Games, a 30-minute live-actor scavenger hunt for groups of four to 10. Your team will need to find cursed treasure while avoiding the Pirate King’s butchers, who hunt by sound.

Nightly Spirits Houston — Booze and Boos Tour

Downtown Houston has a surprising amount of ghost lore tucked into its historic buildings, and the Booze and Boos Tour gives you a fun way to hear the stories while stopping for drinks along the way.
The 2.5-hour tour visits four bars, starting at Char Bar and continuing to La Carafe, one of Houston’s oldest wine bars, where a spectral bartender is said to still make an appearance.
You’ll also stop at Dean’s, housed in a building with Texas’ oldest electric elevator, and Sonderbar Internationale, where you’ll hear stories connected to the nearby Buffalo Bayou.
The tour centers around Market Square Park, the 62-block area where Houston got its start. The neighborhood was once home to several City Hall buildings and a busy open-air market, and its long history has left behind plenty of stories involving tragic romances, murders, and unexplained apparitions.
As you walk along the area, your costumed guide will recount all the spooky and strange occurrences of the area.

Old Town Spring Ghost Walk
Old Town Spring is charming during the day, with its little shops and historic buildings, but stick around after dark, and the atmosphere changes quite a bit.
The Houston Ghost Tour has spent more than 16 years researching the town’s history and paranormal stories, and its evening walks bring together everything from frontier justice and cursed dolls to old murders, a ghostly bride, and a building still marked by bullet holes from a Bonnie and Clyde robbery.
One of the highlights is Wunsche Brothers Café and Saloon, a 1902 building that was originally a hotel, brothel, and saloon before becoming the café visitors know today.
The founding brother, Charlie Wunsche, is said to still make himself known around the building, with employees and visitors reporting doors opening and closing, electronics acting strangely, and objects moving on their own.
There’s also the long-running legend of an Akokisa tribal curse said to have been placed on the land in the 1700s. According to the story, anyone who builds on the former winter camp or cuts down its trees will experience fire, and several buildings in Old Town Spring have burned over the years.

Houston Scream Fest
At the Houston Scream Fest, your ticket gets you into eight haunted houses, which cover everything from an asylum takeover and a medieval maze to La Llorona and a Texas Chainsaw-themed maze.

Haunted Trails takes a different approach to the usual haunted house experience. Instead of walking into a building and immediately finding yourself surrounded by carefully designed rooms, you start on a hay wagon, riding through dark fields before being dropped off at the edge of the woods. From there, you have to make your way through the trail on foot.
The 2026 themes center around an eerie plague and a town overrun by the undead, with live actors, creatures, and immersive scenes appearing along the trail.
Located in the Old Town Spring area, Haunted Trails is also easy to pair with some of the other spooky events nearby. You could start the evening with one of the town’s ghost tours, grab something to eat, and then head out to the trail once the sun goes down and the creatures come out.

If you’ve been to REDRUM before, 2026 gives you plenty of reason to come back. Three of the four attractions have received major updates to their scenes, effects, and scares, while the fourth, Live Industries, is completely new.
Live Industries takes you into a corporation that promised a cure for aging but instead caused a catastrophic reactor collapse. Now Sector 4 is a radiation hot zone filled with mutated test subjects and the remains of secrets the company would probably rather keep buried.
Meanwhile, the returning attractions take you in very different directions: Cinegore brings you into the world of horror movies, Deadwood Asylum traps you inside an asylum sealed by a dimensional vortex, and Twisted Circus Rewired 3D uses ChromaDepth technology to give the entire attraction a layered 3D effect.
General admission includes unlimited re-entry to all four attractions, so you don’t have to rush through everything in one visit.
You can take a break at the Fearway midway, watch the live entertainment, grab food from Giuseppe Joe’s Italian Street Food, and head back in for another round when you’re ready.
