One of Houston’s favorite traditions is the weekly steak night — a great chance to save big on a delicious steak dinner. You can find them all over town and on every week day. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with details and what you need to know before you go:

MONDAY

Cecil’s Pub– This dog-friendly pub with an awesome patio has drink and shot specials all month long, plus a great Houston steak night on Mondays. The food is cash only.

Under the Volcano– Every Monday from 6-10 pm, get a tossed salad, steak, and garlic mashed potatoes for just $18. They also offer $5 off all bottles of wine.

Revelry on Richmond– $20 gets you a 12-ounce rib-eye, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and a cold craft beer.

Canyon Creek– With a popular Houston steak night two days a week, you can’t go wrong at Canyon Creek. Monday and Wednesday, they have steak night plus other specials. On Mondays, they have happy hour from noon to midnight with half priced bottles of wine.

Saint Dane’s– Get their famous ribeye with two sides for just $10-$13 each. Bud light and Ziegenbock are only $7 from 4 pm to close.

BosscatEvery Monday from 6-10 pm, Bosscat Kitchen and Libations have steaks for just $20. You’ll like the steak but it’s really the Whiskey Room you’re looking for.

Down the Street– Steak Night is every Monday starting at 5 pm. The grill runs until 10 pm or until supplies run out.

 

TUESDAY

Griff’s Irish Pub– Get a giant baked potato, perfectly marinated steak, and draft beer for only $12.99. It’s one of the best Houston steak night values you’ll find.

The Hideaway– Get a 16-ounce rib-eye with a baked potato and side salad. You get all of that for just $14.50. This special runs Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Hay Merchant– Get an 8-ounce sirloin served with seasonal veggies. The meal is $15 starting at 5 pm until supplies run out.

Wakefield Crowbar– This bar and grill offers two choices on Steak Night. You can get a $15 Rib-eye with two sides or a $20 filet with two sides. They also offer $4 select TX drafts and $6 Deep Eddy.

McIntyre’s– On Tuesdays, they have not only steak night but rock and roll bingo. You don’t want to miss either. Get a 12-ounce Angus ribeye or an 8-ounce Angus filet. They also offer $5 Big Ass Beers, happy hour until 8, and their regular food trucks. Steak night runs 6 pm to close or whenever they run out.

Pimlico Irish Pub– Every Tuesday is Steak & Lamb Night from 6:30-11 pm. The food is cash only.

Front Porch Pub– Steak night begins at 6:30 pm. It’s also Trivia Night where you can win a $50 gift card for first

MKT Bar at Phoenecia– Every Tuesday and Thursday, get a steak dinner for just $14.50. It’s one of the cheapest on the list. You also get a salad, and choice of sides and sauces. They’re hosting from 2- 10- that’s what you call a steak night!

Axelrad– Their steak night special runs every Tuesday through February 26th so get in on the deal while it’s good. Snow Topi will be grilling up a steak and a side for just $20. Get a $2 discount when you bring your own real dinner plate and silverware- go green!

Nett Bar– Tuesdays at Nett Bar are for Steak Night and Running Club. C&S Rollin’ Smoke will be on site grilling 12-ounce NY Strips. They come with a side of asparagus, roasted potatoes, and a roll. The grill starts at 5 pm and go until supplies run out. You can also get a glass of wine or beer for just $4.

 

WEDNESDAY

Phil & Derek’s Restaurant & Jazz Lounge– This is one of Houston’s most romantic steak nights. For $18.99, get a Ribeye with choice of sides. They have a smoke-friendly patio. You might want to make reservations.

Platypus Brewing– Wednesday night is Surf & Turf night! $20 gets you steak, prawns, a choice of sides, and a pint. The hours are from 4- 10 pm.

Holler Brewing– Each Wednesday night, Snow Topi grills up steaks at Holler Brewing. The steak, sides, and a beer are just $22 per person. You can get $2 off if you bring your own plate and utensils (Pro- tip: Bring a real dinner plate. We’re trying to save the Earth here. Paper plates will not get a discount.)

Glitter Karaoke– Steak and buckets of beer are on specials Wednesday night at Glitter Karaoke. For $16.50, you get a choice of rib-eye, side, a salad, and roll. Buckets are $17 for domestic and $20 for imports. Plus, Ketel One is just $6.75!

Little Woodrow’s Midtown– Steak, whiskey, and big- ass beers are all on special Wednesday nights. They also offer live trivia and a happy hour from noon to 7 pm.

Little Woodrow’s Eado– Wednesday nights here mean you get not only a steak but $1 off all IPAs. They also offer happy hour from opening until 7 pm.

The West End– Wednesdays, you get $16 steaks and $4 pints. The steak comes with a loaded baked potato. Karaoke starts at 9:30!

Canyon Creek– With a steak night two days a week, you can’t go wrong at Canyon Creek. Monday and Wednesday, they have steak night plus other specials. On Wednesdays, they have Steak Night plus World Wide food specials and Whiskey specials.

Capone’s Bar & Oven– Get a 7-ounce filet, sauteed mushrooms, and a baked potato.

Beer Market Co.– Steak & Brew Wednesdays mean you get a $14 smoked rib-eye with a side. Each steak is expertly paired with a craft beer for maximum taste. This deal is good at both their Studemont and Midtown locations.

Public House Heights– Bray is the grill guy and he’s serving up grilled rib-eyes, pork chops, or a half-rack of lamb for you to choose from. It comes with a side of jalapeno mashed potatoes. The food is cash only at this popular Houston steak night.

 

THURSDAY

The Public House– This bar and restaurant in Katy has Steak Night every Thursday. For $15, you get a NY Strip steak, potatoes, veggies, and wedge salad. Plus, shots of fireball and a draft are just $7.50. Jack Fire or Crown are both $5.

Dan Electro’s Guitar Bar– Every Thursday through the end of March, you can get beef and blues! The Meat Mojo cooks up steak, chicken, rack of lamb, and pork. Your meal comes with two sides.  Get there early- supplies are limited. The grill starts at 6:30. The food is cash only.

Front Porch Pub– Every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30- 10 pm, steak dinners are on special.

Maple Leaf Pub– Happy hour on Thursdays is from 3-7 and steak night is from 6 pm until supplies run out. Pitchers of Miller and Bud are just $12.

PJs Sports Bar– This is one of the best steak nights around because they want to make sure you’re not alone. For $33, you get two of everything- two steaks, two potatoes, two salads, and a pitcher of beer to share. 5:30- 10 pm or until supplies run out.

Moon Tower Inn– One of Houston’s best hidden gems offers a steak night just once a week. Steak isn’t on their regular menu but their food is bomb, you won’t be disappointed. The grill starts at 6!

Red Lion Pub– Get a Filet Mignon dinner with two sides for just $24.

Henke & Pilot– Every Thursday, you can Steak It Easy in downtown. Hours are from 4 pm until midnight. You get a $20 steak meal with a 16-ounce rib-eye, mashed potatoes or fries, and a Buffalo Bayou beer.

George’s Country Sports Bar– Your food is made to order. Every Thursday from 6- 9 pm until supplies run out.

Around the Corner– This gorgeous patio restaurant offers a steak night every Thursday from 5- 10 pm. You’ll get a 14-ounce rib-eye with scalloped potatoes and a side salad.

Spring Street Beer & Wine Garden– What’s better than Steak Night? Steak Night with Bingo- Mexican Bingo. Loteria is free to play.

Simone on Sunset– You want to wash down all that steak with a nice glass of wine and you want to do it at Simone on Sunset. Happy hour is from 4-7 pm. The steaks start at 5 pm. You’ll get a 6-ounce filet hand-wrapped in bacon, with sides and veggies. Steaks will be served until supplies run out.

 

FRIDAY

Beer Market Co.– Steak Night Fridays mean you get a $16x smoked rib-eye with a side. Each steak is expertly paired with an international beer. Held every Friday from 4- 11 pm.  This deal is good at both their Studemont and Midtown locations.

 

SATURDAY

The Hideaway– Get a 16-ounce rib-eye with a baked potato and side salad. You get all of that for just $14.50. This  Houston steak night special runs Tuesdays and Saturdays.
