Get ready for an even more inclusive and sensory-friendly experience at Houston Zoo Lights this year! Every night is now tailored for everyone, including those in the neurodiverse community. The Houston Zoo has made the season more comfortable by removing strobe and flashy lights and adding special quiet zones. Check out the Zoo Lights map to find these two serene spots.

Houston Zoo Lights 2023 Tickets
To make your Zoo Lights adventure even more enjoyable, the Houston Zoo offers a variety of ticket options and preferences that you can choose from online. For the Houston Zoo Christmas Lights 2023, ticket prices range from $22.95 to $31.95 for both adults and children. However, children under the age of 2 can enjoy every Houston Zoo light attraction for free! Buy your Houston Zoo Lights tickets online soon because they won’t be sold on-site.

Members can save up to 20% off every ticket by logging into the Zoo Lights Member Portal to buy tickets. Also, educators, military, and first responders (EMTs, firefighters, police) can get 10% off tickets for the different events and sights to see except Sip & Sparkle. Don’t forget, an ID will be required and this is limited to up to 5 tickets.

As the holiday season approaches, the Houston Zoo transforms into a dazzling winter wonderland with its annual Zoo Lights spectacular. This year, the Houston Zoo of Lights will run from November 17, 2023, to January 7, 2024, from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm. The last entry’s at 9:30 pm so make sure to get there beforehand!
We also want to remind everyone that the Houston Lights at the Zoo will be closed on December 6, December 24 (Christmas Eve), and December 25 (Christmas Day). If you want to plan to enjoy the Houston Zoo Lights on a day with less foot traffic, some days that the Zoo recommends include November 27, 28, 29, December 4, and 5, as well as December 11, 12, and 13.
