Looking for something new and interesting to do with kids this summer? Check out the prehistoric beasts exhibit at the Houston Zoo.
The exhibit brought to you by TXU Energy is currently on at the Houston zoo provides visitors with an exciting opportunity to get up close and personal with colossal creatures that once ruled the Earth. Face an 8-foot-tall Terror Bird, a Dire Wolf huge enough to devour bison, a towering huge bear, T-larger Rex’s relative Giganotosaurus, and many other creatures. You also get an opportunity to take a photo shot inside the huge Megalodon’s jaws.
The exhibit will take you back in time, and help you spot the parallels between Zoo animals and these prehistoric monsters. After you are done with this exhibit, you can visit their modern-day descendants, such as the Malayan tiger, green anaconda, black bear, bald eagle, and more.
