Great news! H-E-B has announced that they will offer free curbside pickup service at all of their Texas locations. There are close to 60 H-E-B stores offering curbside pickup in the Houston area, so this move will benefit a lot of people.
H-E-B would no longer charge the $4.95 fee for curbside delivery orders with a minimum payment of $35, making shopping even more convenient and cost-effective.
To qualify for free curbside collection, customers must order at least $35 before fees, discounts, coupons, etc.A small basket surcharge of $2.95 will apply on orders less than $35.
Senior Vice President of eCommerce Merchandising, Rachael Vegas, said;
Our goal with H-E-B Curbside is to give Texans an easier, more convenient way to shop for the products they want and need, and we are excited to now offer this service free to all our H-E-B customers.
Any order received at least four hours prior to the pickup time qualifies for H-E-B Free Curbside Pickup. Customers can place orders through the My H-E-B mobile app or online at heb.com. Note that, product prices in store and from online may differ but you get contactless service, allowing you to remain in their vehicle while your order is loaded.
Once you create account on heb.com website or My H-E-B mobile app and load your SNAP EBT details, you can make SNAP EBT payments for online purchases. This service was started last year and customers can quickly check their SNAP EBT balance on website or My H-E-B app.
The company is planning to offer more H-E-B Free Curbside Pickup services in Houston and across Texas. H-E-B is devoted to providing their shoppers a unique shopping experience and more payment and free delivery options.
