Winter Camp Houston 2023 – Fun and Learning!
Bach to Rock Music Camps

Bach to Rock Memorial is offering a variety of winter camps for kids and teens of all ages and skill levels in 2023. From week-long camps to partial-week, half-day, and day camps, there is something for everyone.
Campers will have a blast learning to play their favorite songs, performing with other campers, and making new friends. Bach to Rock’s experienced and passionate instructors will teach campers the basics of music theory and performance, and help them to develop their skills and confidence.

Bailey Oaks Farms – Christmas Riding Camp 2023

This camp will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Campers will enjoy a variety of holiday-themed activities, including riding lessons, grooming, and tacking. They will also have time to make crafts, play games, and sing Christmas carols.

Winter Camps 2023 at RISE At The Warehouse are weeklong day camps for kids between the ages of 5-12. The camps include gymnastics, dance, music, and ninja.

Camp ZooFari at Houston Zoo

Chancellors Family Center is offering a variety of winter tennis camps for kids of all ages and skill levels in 2023. Camps are available during the following weeks:

HIT! Holiday Baseball and Softball Camps

These camps are a baseball-themed “day camp” that includes at least 2 hours of “direct” baseball instruction for the group in the morning. After lunch, “indirect” baseball training occurs which is a form of composite gameplay. Dodgeball supports speed, agility, and quickness and kickball reinforces the rules and tactics of diamond sports gameplay.
The camps are for children 6-12 years old (split into groups by age and ability) and cover the essentials of batting and fielding. Camp is run by our coaches and high school assistants.

Houston Arboretum & Nature Center Winter Camp: “Goosebumps & Mysteries”
The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to nature education and conservation, offers winter camps for children ages 4-12.
Campers will explore the natural world through hands-on activities, games, and stories. They will learn about the winter wildlife of the Houston area, discover the mysteries of the forest, and investigate the science behind winter weather.
Campers will also have the opportunity to explore the Arboretum’s 155 acres of forest, meadows, and wetlands. They will hike along scenic trails, visit the Discovery Room, and participate in nature-themed arts and crafts.

Houston Dash & Dynamo Camps
The Houston Dynamo FC Winter Camps 2023 offers a variety of soccer camps for children ages 4-16. The camps are held at different locations in Houston and offer a variety of activities, including skill-building, scrimmages, and games.
The camps are open to all skill levels and are a great way for kids to learn and improve their soccer skills while having fun. The camps are also a great way for kids to meet new friends and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Here is a brief overview of the different Winter Camps offered by the Houston Dynamo FC:
- Winter Camp 1: This camp is for children ages 4-10 and is held from December 19-22, 2023. The camp focuses on basic soccer skills, such as dribbling, passing, and shooting.
- Winter Camp 2: This camp is for children ages 11-16 and is held from December 26-29, 2023. The camp focuses on more advanced soccer skills, such as tactical play and decision-making.
- Winter Camp 3: This camp is for children ages 4-16 and is held from January 2-5, 2024. The camp focuses on futsal, a variation of soccer played on a smaller field with fewer players.
- Winter Camp 4: This camp is for children ages 11-16 and is held from January 9-12, 2024. The camp focuses on goalkeeper training.

Houston Gymnastics Academy

Keep your kids active and engaged while they’re out of school at one of our Houston Gymnastics Academy Camps. These annual camps, open to both members and non-members, offer a jam-packed day of activities involving gymnastics, trampolines, obstacle courses, and games. Children must be fully potty trained to participate and those between ages 3-4 years old should pack an additional outfit just in case.

Winterfest is a weekend-long winter camp offered by Pine Cove for kids in grades 4-12. It is held in December at four locations: Central Texas, East Texas, Northeast Georgia, and the Springs. Space Center Houston is excited to announce its Winter Explorer Camps for 2023! These camps offer children ages 4-11 the opportunity to learn about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through engaging and hands-on activities.
Winter Explorer Camp Offerings and Pricing
- Winter Wonderland (Ages 4-5): Campers will explore the wonders of winter through hands-on activities and experiments. They will learn about snowflakes, snowmen, and other winter fun. Price: $250 for 4 days
- Space Odyssey (Ages 6-7): Campers will travel through space and learn about the planets, stars, and other celestial objects. They will also build their rockets and spaceships. Price: $275 for 4 days
- Mission to Mars (Ages 8-9): Campers will train to be astronauts and prepare for a mission to Mars. They will learn about the challenges of space travel and how to overcome them. Price: $300 for 4 days
- Journey to the Stars (Ages 10-11): Campers will explore the universe and learn about the latest discoveries in astronomy. They will also build their telescopes and learn how to use them. Price: $325 for 4 days

YMCA Houston is offering a variety of winter camps for children of all ages, starting December 27, 2023 and running through January 5, 2024. YMCA Winter Break Camp 2023 Activities are offered at various locations throughout the Houston area.
Winter Camp Offerings:
- Adventure Camp (Ages 6-12): Children will participate in a variety of activities, including swimming, arts and crafts, sports, and games.
- Arts and Crafts Camp (Ages 6-12): Children will create a variety of art projects, including painting, drawing, and sculpting.
- Cooking Camp (Ages 8-12): Children will learn how to cook and bake a variety of dishes.
- Dance Camp (Ages 6-12): Children will learn the basics of ballet, jazz, and hip-hop dance.

Come enjoy the Holiday Skate Camps at The Galleria. The kids will have fun ice skating as well as many other on-ice and off-ice activities, including scavenger hunts, karaoke, arts & crafts, music & movement, bubble mania, and more. There is no other winter camp in Houston like it.
