Memorial Walk at Memorial Park

The Exchange Club of Sugar Land invites the community to honor fallen heroes at its annual A Night to Remember celebration. Guests can expect patriotic songs, dances, performances, and speeches delivered by veterans themselves.

Galveston Naval Museum Memorial Day Ceremony

Memorial Day Brunch
The restaurant will be serving its signature brunch on Memorial Day Monday. Customers can enjoy classic dishes like eggs Benedict and French toast, or try something more creative like the Parmesan truffle scramble or chilaquiles verde. The brunch menu can be viewed on the restaurant’s website.
The restaurant will also be offering Memorial Day features from Thursday, May 23 to Wednesday, May 29.

HCP4 Memorial Day Ceremony
A solemn Memorial Day Ceremony will be held at the War Memorial Pavilion, located within Bear Creek Pioneers Park, courtesy of Harris County Precinct 4. The community is invited to gather and pay tribute to the courageous souls who served the nation, making the ultimate sacrifice for freedom.

Heroes Again Boot Camp

The Heroes Again program, a partnership between Fitmix Yoga & Latin Fitness Studio, fosters a safe space for people to focus on both physical and mental well-being. Veterans, community leaders, and fitness instructors all contribute as “Heroes” in the program. Anyone is welcome to join.
The program creates a welcoming, enjoyable, and energetic environment where participants can have open conversations about mental health challenges, coping strategies, personal experiences, and available resources. The ultimate aim is to build a strong and supportive community while everyone works towards improved physical and mental health.

Memorial Day Celebration at Buffalo Soldiers National Museum
Visitors can enjoy access to all exhibits (including the NEW Blue Helmets display), a special Living History Program, and special resources for veterans and their families. Join them for an Artifact Talk at 11 AM with BSNM’s Archivist Jason Fung, who will explore the theme of emancipation through artifacts. RSVP in advance to receive FREE admission for the whole family.

Memorial Day Ceremony at Sugar Land Memorial Park

The program features patriotic music by the Lone Star Symphony, a military flyover, speeches by distinguished guests, a tribute to fallen soldiers, presentations by the Sugar Land Police Department Honor Guard, and various military-related vendor booths and food trucks.
Be advised that parking at Memorial Park is limited, with free shuttle services available from Brazos River Park running from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
