Honor our heroes while discovering history through flight at the Lone Star Flight Museum’s Memorial Day weekend events.
If you’re feeling adventurous, you can try their flight simulators, which will be open to the public throughout the event. You can also tour the planes and hear war stories from actual pilots and veterans who’ll be attending the event.

Join me at the Freedom Run, a special event where every stride you take honors the courageous individuals who have served. Whether you run solo or gather friends and family, you’ll be part of a powerful tribute to freedom.
This run offers scenic routes and a motivating challenge, all while connecting you with a community united in remembrance.

Houston Memorial Weekend HOUchella
Don’t miss the biggest Memorial weekend party this year in Houston: HOUchella! Starting on Friday, there will be plenty of fun events to look forward to, including an insane pool party, HTX After Dark featuring BIG BOOGIE x DEEBABY, and performances by Puerto Rican Princess JOSELINE HERNANDEZ and friends.

This Memorial Day, Town Green Park will be filled with live music, captivating stroll entertainment, and a wonderland of activities just for kids. Concessions will also be available for purchase.
The evening will then end with a breathtaking fireworks spectacle, perfectly synchronized with a powerful patriotic soundtrack.
Please be advised that the festival beverage booth will only be accepting cashless payments. Guests can pay with cash but will need to have exact change.

Memorial Day Ceremony at Sugar Land
This Memorial Day weekend, join Sugar Land for a powerful tribute honoring our nation’s heroes.
Experience moving patriotic melodies performed by the Lone Star Symphony, witness a breathtaking military flyover, and hear inspiring words from distinguished speakers.
The Sugar Land Police Department Honor Guard will also present a moving tribute to the fallen. Last but not least, you can explore various military-related vendors and delicious food trucks.

Get your heart pumping while honoring the brave men and women who gave their lives for our country this Memorial Day weekend. Chooose between 10K, 5K, a kids/ family 1K walk, and a half marathon.
Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female runners, the top 3 overall, and the 1st place per age group.

Kingwood Memorial Day Salute
Be part of the 1st Annual Kingwood Memorial Day Hero Salute at Town Center Park. You can challenge yourself with the Murph or Loredo races, go the distance in the Half Marathon, or enjoy the 5K and 10K runs. Even the little ones can join the fun with the Kids Mini-Salute.
As a participant, you’ll snag a custom race shirt, a finisher’s medal, and a race bib, with awesome awards awaiting the top performers.
Then, after the race, get ready to enjoy post-race Tug-of-War, live music, and refreshing drinks.
