Get in the Rodeo spirit with the Houston Rodeo Parade! Join me and watch decorative floats, men and women on horseback, marching bands, and so much more fill the streets with color.

The parade starts at Bagby and Walker Streets, then goes onto Travis to Bell Streets and then to Louisiana Street. It will then turn to Lamar and end at Bagby again.

Do your kids love all kinds of crafts like mine? Head over to the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft this weekend for tons of craft fun.

Bring out the entire family for a day full of fun at Family Gras presented by Moody National Bank! The Shriners Hospitals for Children-Galveston & Sunshine Kids Parade will begin at noon with festive floats and Shriners Clowns and Mini-Cars!

Then, at 1:30 pm, the 25th Annual Krewe of Barkus & Meoux Parade will begin. Here, families are encouraged to register and join the parade with their family pets. There will also be a costume party for the pets and winners will be announced before the parade starts.

Last but not least, at 3 pm, local firefighters and first responders will host a parade dedicated to the families and children of Galveston with decorated floats and costumed kids.
