Spring is here and Discovery Green is rolling out their super cool outdoor roller rink! So lace up your roller skates, skate under the Houston skyline, and have tons of fun. The rink also features a rubber subfloor for increased comfort and bright colors perfect for photos.
Head out to Urban South HTX this weekend and join their Texas-sized Mardi Gras party! They’ll be pulling out the stops for this one and will feature a limited amount of Pint and pint-and-slice pairings featuring Dong Phuong King Cake. Each pairing comes with one king cake slice of your flavor choice and a pint of your choice.
There will also be market vendors, bounce houses, face painting, themed beer and cocktails, frozen hurricanes, and so much more.
The annual Mardi Gras Festival at Town Center Park in Kingwood is back! The parade will run from the KinderCare car park on Bens Branch Drive, take a clockwise circuit around the park, and then exit back to the Bens Branch Dr.
After the parade, there will be craft and food vendors, dancing, and music from Leroy Thomas and his Zydeco band.
Watch 12, 000-pound monster trucks soaring, flipping, and crashing around NRG Stadium this weekend! The touring spectacle will be back in Houston and you’ll also get plenty of photo opportunities with the amazing vehicles.

The Mardi Gras on Main street festival is back in downtown La Porte this year! It will begin with the Mardi Gras umbrella parade featuring golf carts, floats, characters, and candy and beads tossed towards the crowd.
Aside from the parade, there will also be fire throwers, a kids zone, a market, street entertainers, fortune telling, a beer and wine zone, caricature drawings, and more. Nooney and the Zydeco Floaters will also be headlining the event starting at 5 pm
Enjoy an early Valentine’s Day with the kids with a showing of “The Princess Bride” this weekend at Central Green. There will also be Valentine’s crafts, a teddy bear mascot, and face painting for the kids.
Lunar New Year celebrations will also be lighting up Discovery Green this weekend. Head over there with the family to enjoy an evening of dances from Lee’s Golden Dragon, craft activities, and food vendors.

Journey with them as they get to know the characters who live there and help save them from the evil witch.
