This Christmas, take in a beautiful light show set to festive music, all from the comfort of your car. Your whole family can enjoy a safe, socially distanced ride through a wonderland made up of twinkling lights at the Light Park in Spring, Texas.

The Light Park Show at Splashtown in Houston

Located on the grounds of Hurricane Harbor Splashtown, The Light Park is a pop-up holiday park designed for guests to drive through. While they wait in their cars, they can tune in to the North Pole’s #1 Hit Radio Station, so the DJ can keep everyone entertained.  When it’s their turn, everyone from kids to adults will be amazed by the snowflakes, snowmen, and Christmas trees made up of lights. What’s more, all the lights flash, pulse, and move in time with everyone’s favorite holiday tunes.

The show is open every night through January 2nd. Each showing lasts about 30-40 minutes on weekdays and 60-90 minutes on weekends and holidays. Don’t worry about rainy weather. No matter what happens, the show must go on. Rain even adds a little extra sparkle!

Ticket packages

While you’re buying tickets, you can also grab some kettle corn and a light wand so you can add some light of your own. If you can’t stand waiting, you can buy an $80 Dasher Pass ($65 after Christmas weekend), which will get you two light wands and let you skip the line. If you’d rather avoid the line the old-fashioned way, just go during off-peak hours. An easy option would be to go during the week after Christmas has passed.

If you’re not in the Spring area or if you’re in the mood to travel, the Light Park has three other locations in Katy, Grand Prairie, and San Antonio.
